On Friday, October 18, our department will host an Audition Workshop Day, to assist students in the region prepare for music auditions, whether or not they are considering GRCC as a potential institution of study. This FREE event is open to any high school student, but may be most advantageous for juniors and seniors.
The day’s activities will include mock auditions to help students understand what successful auditions look like; career pathway sessions with professionals in the fields of education, therapy, performance, recording technology, and entrepreneurship; interactions with potential transfer institutions; and coaching with our GRCC Music faculty, allowing students to gain an evaluation of their current skill set and areas for growth.
