Practice Rooms
Practice Rooms are available to currently enrolled GRCC Music Students. Non-GRCC Music Students and general students/public and are not permitted to use the practice rooms.
Practice Rooms are not available when classes are not in session.
Raidercard is required to access the practice rooms are all currently enrolled GRCC Music Students.
Fall & Winter Semester Hours
Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Summer Semester Hours
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Lockers
The GRCC Music Department have a variety lockers that can be checked by students. These lockers are reserved for music majors or students taking any MUS course.
Locker Use Procedures
- GRCC Raidercard is required for check-out
- Lockers are available for the Fall & Winter semesters only
- Locker use ends at the end of each Winter Semester
- Lockers are to be cleaned out the week of finals (last week of the winter semester)
Please Note: Anything left behind in lockers will be discarded at clean-out. GRCC Music Department is not responsible financially for any discarded items.

GRCC Music Instrument Check-Out
GRCC Music Department have instruments that students can check-out for their personal use while enrolled in lessons or ensembles.
Check-Out Form
Current GRCC Music Students can complete the Instrument Check-Out Form. The Music Department Support Professional will be in contact to complete the instrument check-out process.
Deposit
A deposit will be required for all instrument check-outs. The deposit will be returned to students when the instrument is returned at the requested date and in the same condition it was issued. Deposits are Cash-Only.
- $25.00 for One Semester
- $50.00 for Two Semesters (Fall-Winter)
The Music Department does not carry or provide any change. Please bring exact amount needed for your rental deposit.

GRCC Recording Studio Booking
GRCC's Recording Technology Department requires their certificate and degree-seeking students to complete projects using the GRCC Music recording studio. Students actively enrolled in that program will need to complete the recording studio booking request form to use the studio.
Recording Studio Booking Request Form
Requests will be processed through the front office and a confirmation email will be sent to students in 1-3 business days.
GRCC's recording studio is only available to active GRCC music students enrolled in the recording technology program and are working on current semester projects.
The recording studio cannot be used for personal use or to produce any materials for pay.

GRCC Sophomore Recital Intent Form
Complete the Sophomore Recital Intent Form
- Students will complete this form following their successful performance of the MUS 261 Jury.
- The sophomore recital is an optional opportunity for applied students to fulfill the requirements for the MUS 262 level of study.
- Students have the option to schedule their recital during the same semester as their MUS 262 study or they may pass the MUS 262 level with a successful jury and schedule their recital for a subsequent semester.
- Students must be enrolled in applied study during the semester of their intended recital performance.
