Canvas Training Courses
Prepare for Canvas by choosing one of the training courses below: Exploring Canvas, Canvas Foundations, or OHCC. Click here to learn how to register.
- Exploring Canvas is an asynchronous, unfacilitated and self-guided version of Canvas Foundations. If you feel confident in your ability to work with the Canvas tools and prefer to work at your own pace without needing a facilitator’s guidance, Exploring Canvas may be the right option for you.
- Canvas Foundations is an asynchronous, facilitated training that provides a hands-on overview of the tools available for teaching and learning in Canvas. A facilitator will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have as you complete the training and practice activities.
- OHCC is a six week online course designed to provide professors with the skills needed to deliver a high-quality online/hybrid course. The OHCC will begin using Canvas in January 2025.
- The Canvas Training Portal offers self-paced courses and on-demand webinars, covering a variety of Canvas topics at your convenience. Learn how to access the training portal or watch this how-to video.
