Board of Trustees

GRCC is governed by the board of trustees, which consists of seven members elected at large in biennial elections. The president of the college serves as an ex officio member of the board. The trustees serve without compensation for overlapping terms of six years. Trustees operate under the policy governance model. The board meets once a month in a public session.

pursuant to Michigan OMA 8(1)(h), to consider material exempt from discussion or disclosure by state or federal statute - a written legal opinion.
pursuant to Michigan OMA 8(1)(c), for strategy connected with the negotiation of a collective bargaining agreement.

The Grand Rapids Community College Board of Trustees will meet in a work session on May 5, 2025 beginning at 2:15 p.m. This meeting is open to the public under the Open Meetings Act, 267.

The meeting will be held on the fifth floor of the Raleigh J. Finkelstein Hall (RJF) in the board conference room
