Eligibility requirements:
To be eligible to apply for TRIO/SSS you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident or refugee and meet at least 2 of the following criteria:
- Registered or registering for the upcoming semester.
- First-generation college students (neither parent(s) or legal guardian has a bachelor degree).
- Meet low-income guidelines as defined by the U. S. Department of Education (FASFA).
- Have a documented disability.
- An individual with disabilities as defined by ADA Amendments Act of 2008 is a person who has a:
- physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities of such an individual, and
- record of such an impairment, or
- being regarded as having such an "impairment."

Criteria to remain active with TRIO:
- Completing financial literacy upon admission to the program
- Participate in services 3 times every semester
- Meeting with your TRIO advisor
- Tutoring
- Cultural event
- Workshop
- Campus visit
