ServicesExplanation
Academic Advising PlanningCreate a plan for your academic success at GRCC. Explore classes for the upcoming semesters, GRCC graduation requirements, admissions requirements for transfer schools and more.
Transfer PlanningThere's a lot to think about when transferring, such as admissions requirements, scholarship opportunities, tuition and more. Schedule an appointment with your TRIO advisor to develop a transfer plan.
WorkshopsAttend one of GRCC’s general workshops or TRIO specific workshops. Topics include: note taking, time management, midterm/final preparation, scholarship searches, Financial Aid assistance, resume building, dealing with racism and more.
ReferralsConnect with others on campus! (i.e., tutoring, the College Success Center, student clubs & organizations, etc.)
TutoringTRIO offers 1-on-1 tutoring. Check with our staff to see what subject you can receive help in.

Plan Assessment
Don’t know what to major in or what career to pursue? Schedule an appointment for career counseling.
Job PreparationCreate a resume and/or cover letter and bring it in for review and feedback, or plan for a mock interview.
Summer ResearchMeet new students, live on campus, and strengthen your resume by participating in summer research.
Transfer Visits to 4-year Colleges and UniversitiesTake a campus tour, meet staff for your major, learn about the transfer admissions process, transfer scholarships, and much more!
Peer MentorsConnect with our Peer Mentors to learn more about campus life, TRIO, what it means to be a college student, ways to get connected and involved in your college experience, and much more.

Writing WorkshopsDo you need feedback and direction on drafting an essay for admissions into college or summer research?  All students will benefit from our “Writing that Outshines the Competition” and “Essay Writing for Is Research Right for Me?” workshops.
Cafe ConnectAn opportunity for you to get to know your professors here at GRCC. This is a great way to learn about how they chose their career, what they studied in college, and give them an opportunity to know you! TRIO will provide a gift certificate to be used at the Quiet Cafe.
