The voice of GRCC's student body, Student Government serves as the intermediary between students and higher-level college administration.

What does Student Government do?

We are students working with students, for students. We update you on policy changes, campus climate, the student activities budget, current social initiatives, and more to encourage a more civic-minded campus community.

We act as a resource to students for personal and professional development and leadership to ensure a meaningful experience and education at Grand Rapids Community College.

Join a meeting — all are welcome!

Student Government co-hosts monthly Student Leader Town Halls with Campus Activities Board. Town Halls are held on one Wednesday each month at 3 p.m.

Nio Walton
Being a part of Student Alliance has really given me the opportunity to extend my knowledge on leadership, humility, and what it means to be a part of something bigger than myself. We always make it a priority that our whole team is accounted for and feel comfortable in their positions. I couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home!
