Applied Lesson scheduling will be finalized when students meet with the applied faculty during the first week of each semester. These lessons will be scheduled at a time agreed upon by both the student and the instructor. Most applied lessons will be taught on the GRCC campus in the Music Center.
In addition to tuition, an applied music fee will be charged to each student. The amount is $350 for applied music principal and $175 for applied music secondary.
Students are to be prompt and consistent in their attendance at lesson appointments. If the student must miss a lesson for a legitimate reason, he/she is obligated to give the instructor twenty-four hours advanced notification.
Lessons missed by the student are to be made up at the convenience of the instructor. However, the instructor is not obligated to make up a lesson that is missed by a student. Agreement on the time of the make-up lessons must be made within the week of the missed lesson.
