Join Us! Here's How It Works:

Show up to any class, breathe, move your body and have fun! No need to sign up in advance - just join us. Classes are open to Faculty, Staff, Adjuncts, Contingency Employees, and Student Employees at no cost! It's a lot of fun!

You are always welcome to bring your spouse, child over 18 or friend(s) to these classes. Non-GRCC employees participating are asked to pay a small $20.00 fee per semester to unlimited access to all employee wellness classes. All are welcome!

January 7 - April 19, 2019

 

Mondays

12:00PM - 12:45PM: Bootcamp with Lynnae in the Fieldhouse Balcony
Bootcamp is a high intensity, quick workout. Cardio, strength, and endurance all happen in this 45-minute class. Come and enjoy a great workout that is intense and fun!

5:15PM - 6:00PM: Spin & Sculpt with Kelly in Room 213 FORD
Get a great workout on the bike! This low impact class provides upbeat music, intensity and fun to motivate riders to cross the finish line. Instructors demonstrate proper bike setup and adjustments for a safe ride. Open to all levels.  You must bring water to this class

Tuesdays

6:45AM - 7:30AM: Gentle Yoga with Cheryl in Room 213 FORD 
Yoga for anyone - beginner to expert!  Learn the basic yoga techniques, stress relief, and strengthening body skills. Please bring a yoga mat with you! A few loaner mats are available

Wednesdays

Thursdays

5:30PM - 6:15PM: Butts & Guts with Beth in Room in Room 212 FORD
Train and tighten all regions of the lower body and core with this toning class. Workout will focus on the abs, glutes, legs, and lower back using light weights and body resistance.

Fridays

12:00PM - 12:45PM: Vinyasa Yoga with Beth in Room 212 FORD
Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement," and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow. Be ready to have a great full body workout. This is for beginners to advanced. Please bring a yoga mat with you! A few loaner mats are available.

 

GVSU & GRCC Wellness Partnership

GRCC employees may also attend any and all of the wellness exercise classes offered through GVSU for a small $20 fee. Please view the GVSU Wellness page to view their offerings.
