What is Brother 2 Brother?
The Brother 2 Brother Network centers equity at the core of its foundation. Participants are led though evidence-based pillars of success that redress historical and systematic inequities male and male-identified students encounter in academic environments.
- Goals: The goal of the program is to tap into and enhance student's cultural capital, strengthen their academic acumen, foster leadership development and support personal growth through mentorship.
- Expectations:
- Attend B2B planning meeting(s)
- Attend B2B events when schedule permits
- Host/Facilitate B2B program or workshop
- Serve as a mentor
- Committed to creating a safe space to cultivate belonging

Mentorship: Brother 2 Brother participants will be matched with professional/ returning students who will serve as a mentor for support guidance and help offer assistance and resources that aid in navigating college. Student-centered and student-focused mentorship programs have shown great success in encouraging academic success, increasing student engagement, and cultivating a sense of belonging.
