Health & Safety Resources

GRCC is committed to ensuring our campus remains a safe and healthy place for all members of our campus community and has established policies to provide a work and learning environment that is free from recognizable hazards for students, employees and visitors.

The GRCC Health and Safety Team is responsible for related policy review and public health disease awareness, response, and mitigation.

For the 2024-25 academic year:

Health and safety protocols are dependent on personal responsibility to avoid the transfer of common communicable diseases such as colds, the flu or COVID-19. If you test positive for COVID-19, there are no federal mandates you are required to follow.

To protect yourself and others:

  • Personal responsibility is expected. If you're sick, stay home.
  • Students are expected to notify faculty if they will be out due to illness.
  • Masks are optional in all areas on campus.
  • All individuals should continue to practice healthy hygiene habits to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other illness.
