You may appeal your Academic Suspension for the following reasons, however the acceptance of your appeal is not automatically guaranteed:
Extenuating Circumstances
- Serious Illness
- Unexpected Economic Hardship
- Death in family
Grade Dispute
- Students disputing a grade need to follow the Academic Grade Grievance Procedure.
You must submit third party documentation to support your personal statement in your appeal. Examples of third party documentation are anything not authored by the student that further supports the extenuating circumstances that lead to suspension such as obituaries, medical documentation, letters of recommendation, etc.
Please note that students returning from Academic Suspension will be required to meet with an academic advisor prior to being able to register for classes.
