Grand Rapids Police Memorial Scholarship

An annual award will be given to a full-time sophomore student enrolled in the Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Certification Program. The student shall have maintained at least a 3.0 College GPA. For additional information, contact the GRCC Financial Aid Office (616) 234-4030.

KMCCA Scholarship

This $250 annual scholarship was established by Kent Metro 

Check and Credit Card Association to assist outstanding second year criminal justice students in completing their studies at GRCC. Candidates must have achieved a minimum 3.0 GPA and attend the annual fall meeting of the KMCCA the year they receive the award to be recognized by KMCCA members. Officer Robert A. Kozminski Scholarship Fund

This fund was established in memory of Officer Robert A. Kozminski.  “Bobby” was an officer with the Grand Rapids Police Department for seven years. On July 8, 2007, Bobby heroically gave his life in the line of duty. Bobby had graduated from the Police Academy at Grand Rapids Community College in 1999. Students eligible for this scholarship must be currently enrolled in the Police Academy at GRCC with a goal to obtain a career in Law Enforcement. For additional information, contact David Kok, Criminal Justice (616) 234-3362.

Ferrell Robinson Family Fund

This fund was established by the Ferrell and Robinson families to assist students pursuing an education in the field of Criminal Justice. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded annually to African American students enrolled either full-time or part-time that also demonstrate financial need. This scholarship is renewable. Joseph Taylor Memorial Scholarship

An annual non-renewable award will be given to a full-time freshman student enrolled in the Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Certification program. The student shall have attained a 2.5 high school GPA. For additional information, contact the GRCC Financial Aid Office (616) 234-4030.
