Learn how to apply your technical knowledge and skills to the production of sound recordings as finished products, or as components of film/video, broadcast, live, or mixed media productions.
Plan to complete placement testing prior to beginning coursework for the Digital Audio Specialist Certificate. Successful completion of MUS 112 and MUS 120, or a score of 85% on both the Music Theory Pretest and Piano Placement Pretest, are required for acceptance into many of the courses in this program.
