National Career Readiness Certificate

The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is composed of three WorkKeys® assessments that measure skills critical to on-the-job success: Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information and Locating Information.

Certificates are awarded at four levels based on an individual’s performance on the assessments:

  • Platinum
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Bronze

Adult Education integrates the KeyTrain™ system in their English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) curriculum to help students work on their own pace to learn, practice and demonstrate the skills they need to succeed in the workforce. The ESL program will pay the testing fee for students to take the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) to measure the skills that are critical to a job when the student is ready.
