What is the goal of the GRCC Employee Campaign?

It’s simple: 100% participation! Gifts of any size or type are welcomed and appreciated. Our goal is participation versus a certain dollar amount.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes, 100% of your gift is tax deductible as allowed by law. Please consult appropriate tax or legal counsel to determine the specific tax impact of your gift.

Where does the money go?

For the greatest impact, gifts can be directed to unrestricted student scholarships. You also have the option to select from over 400 different scholarship funds that help students in various programs, with various levels of need, and various levels of academic merit. For a full list of scholarship funds, please visit: grcc.academicworks.com/Opportunities

How long does the Employee Giving Campaign last?

Other Ways to Give

Bequests

A charitable bequest is one of the easiest, most flexible ways you can leave a gift to the GRCC Foundation. Gift options include a:

  • Percentage bequest – a percentage of your estate.
  • Specific bequest – a dollar amount or specific asset.
  • Residuary bequest – from the balance or residue of your estate.

Endowments

You can create a permanent legacy at GRCC. Endowments are funds invested and maintained in perpetuity by the GRCC Foundation. The minimum level to create an endowment is $25,000. IRA Charitable Rollover If you’re 70.5 years or older, you can make a difference now by giving up to $100,000 with an IRA charitable rollover.

Life Insurance

You can designate the GRCC Foundation as the full, partial or contingent beneficiary of your life insurance policy, while still retaining ownership.

Retirement Assets

Retirement plan assets support GRCC students and provide tax relief for your loved ones. Donate a part or all of your unused assets; for example: IRA, 401(k), 403(b), pension or other tax-deferred plans.
