My name is Magdalena (Maggie) Montes-Spruit, I started working @ GRCC in the Fall of 2007 as a Student Employee for the Academics Foundation Program (now College Success) in the Career/Counseling Department. In the Fall of 2010, I transferred to the TRIO Student Support Services Program as a Staff Member.
I attended Blue Heron Academy for Medical Massage Therapy Certification in May of 2005. I am a first generation college student and graduated from GRCC with an Associate in Arts in April 2011. In February 2014 I finished my Internship for my Associate in Health Information Technology with Ferris State University while working towards my Health Information Management Bachelor's Degree. Currently, I am taking time off from academics and focusing on my career path.
I am married and I have a miniature Stallion horse, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ducks and 1 chicken. I love the outdoors, and enjoy activities like tending to my garden, boating, walking/hiking, and camping as well. Ludington State Park is one of many favorites places to go camping and boating on Hamilin Lake.
