One of the ways in which GRCC partners with 4-year institutions is via an Institutional Agreement. An Institutional Agreement is a formal agreement between GRCC and an accredited 4-year institution outlining the parameters for working together to facilitate the seamless transfer of students from GRCC to the 4-year partner. Institutional Agreements are agreed upon at the President/Provost level. Inquiries regarding the establishment of an Institutional Agreement are managed through our Provost.
Program Agreements outline the course requirements for transfer to a program at the 4-year institution. These agreements appear as program offerings in the GRCC academic catalog, are financial aid eligible and result in an Associate Degree from GRCC. Program agreements are developed at the department level following the establishment of an Institutional Agreement.
