Following brand standards when producing promotional materials and using the GRCC logo is crucial for maintaining consistency and credibility.

Brand standards ensure that all communications reflect the institution’s identity, values and messaging cohesively, reinforcing its reputation and fostering recognition among its audience. Consistent use of the GRCC logo across various platforms helps build brand recognition and trust, while also safeguarding against unauthorized or inconsistent representations that could dilute the brand’s impact.

Adhering to brand standards demonstrates professionalism and commitment to quality, enhancing the overall effectiveness of promotional efforts and strengthening the institution’s brand presence in the community and beyond.

Logos

The brand logo is used to promote and identify GRCC. It should be used with supporting design elements that coordinate with other materials college-wide.

The brand logo should be used on promotional literature, brochures and flyers, publications, posters, classroom materials, certificates and all other printed pieces that represent the college. It should also be on T-shirts, presentation templates, surveys, videos and merchandise.

Full Logo

For materials intended for outside audiences that may not be familiar with GRCC, the logo with logotype should be used, unless Grand Rapids Community College is spelled out elsewhere in the material. This is to make sure that the GRCC is not confused with any other institution or organization.
