After graduating from Marquette University in 1986 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, I practiced general dentistry on the northeast side of Grand Rapids, Michigan for 25 years.
I am currently Adjunct Faculty at Grand Rapids Community College, Davenport University, and Ferris State University. I also sit on the Board of Trustees for the Michigan Dental Association, and am involved in the Rotary Strive mentorship program.
I am the mother of 2 college-age daughters, have been married for 25 years, and enjoy good food and wine, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
In the field of education, I have challenged myself to grow as a life long learner and mentor. In the GRCC Dental Auxiliary Program, I pledge to be accessible and responsive to my students, and help ensure an ample pipeline of qualified, enthusiastic future dental professionals. I look forward to bringing my experiences from both direct patient care and the management of a successful small business to my students.
