Science Advising

The Biological Sciences Department has two different formats for academic advising during the fall and winter semesters.

Fall Advising

GRCC faculty will be available to meet with you to answer questions about science coursework, options, sequence and pathways. Fall Advising Days will take place on the main floor hallway of Calkins Science Center:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 6 , 2024 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Research Opportunities

Wednesday Nov. 6 is the TRIO Research Symposium and Summer Research Fair open to all students and faculty to learn about research opportunities.

Winter semester advising

During the winter semester, the Biological Sciences Department advises students through the Biocafe Series, a weekly, drop-in conversation with GRCC's Biology Faculty that offers coffee and is held in the Biology Learning Center located in room 106 of the Calkins Science Center.
