• Cashiering for dinner service at the student run Heritage Restaurant and Fountain Hill Brewery in the Wisner-Bottral Applied Technology Center (also the opportunity to cashier for lunch service).
• Operating the Restaurant’s Point of Sale system, apply discounts, and close out guest checks accurately using the following methods of payment and the respective machines:
o Credit card terminal
o Raider card terminal
o Checks
o Gift Cards
o Cash
• Confirm cash drawer before and after shift.
• Run Point of Sale system financial report.
• Perform/fill-out reconciliation form and cash logs at end of shift.
• Administer OpenTable Reservations for guests
• Train students how to use OpenTable and take reservations
• Answer phone, give directions, take reservations
• Enter guest information form comment cards into Customer Relations Database
• Perform guest service roll such as greeting guests and thanking them as they leave and asking how they enjoyed service
• Take coats and seat guests per OpenTable schematic
• Miscellaneous duties

• Dependable
• Possess good math skills
• Possess neat appearance/pleasant personality appropriate for a white-tablecloth fine dining establishment
• Be able to work under pressure
• Must be able to take direction

Additional Information:
Prior cashier experience and prior customer service experience is preferred. Be computer literate on several platforms is beneficial.
Will train viable candidate in any lacking skills.
