Work-Study
Up to 28 hours per week, Monday - Friday (Days & times flexible with tutors’ & tutee’s schedules)
• Provide small group/individual peer tutoring
• Report on a regular basis to the tutoring office the progress of the tutoring sessions for each student tutored.
• Work collaboratively with the professors of students who are tutored to determine materials and select methods of approach when needed
• Attend scheduled training sessions/workshops/in-services
• Keep complete records of each tutoring session
• Completion of subject tutored with a grade of B (3.0) or higher
• Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to think creatively and solve learning problems
• Flexibility
• Instructor Recommendation (tutoring office will assist the student applicant with this process)
