Save time and money by riding the Silver Line express transit service. The Silver Line travels from 60th Street to GRCC in fewer than 30 minutes.
Student Life and Conduct sells partner Wave Cards for students and staff! Initial cost to purchase a card is $2.00 for and funds can be loaded as needed. The fare for a each ride with your partner card is $1.25 per ride. Wave cards can be reloaded in the student life office or online through the rapid website. General FAQ for riding the Rapid.
Starting January 2nd, 2024 the Rapid has updated their services. In many instances, busses will stop at the affected routes once every half-hour instead of once every 15 minutes, or once every hour instead of twice an hour, the Rapid’s new schedule shows. The routes that are affected by the cuts are: Route 1, Route 2, Route 3, Route 4, Route 5, Route 6, Route 8, Route 9, Route 11, Route 14, Route 24, Route 27 and Route 28. Lakeshore Bus Services – Holland MAX Transit
GRCC's Lakeshore Campus is located on Route 4. For more details on routes visit https://catchamax.org.
MAX Transit offers a semesterly discounted rate for students or those who qualify for the ADA program. (A valid student ID is required for proof and can be obtained in the main office.) MAX Transit operates both an hourly fixed bus route along with a reserve ride service. Each service has unique fares for qualifying individuals.
