Purpose
To recognize employees for years of service to GRCC.
Eligibility
All full-time employees completing 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, or 40 years of service as determined by Human Resources.
Method of Recognition
Years of service are recognized at the Annual All Employee Recognition Reception on Commencement Day.
- 5 years Certificate of appreciation
- 10 years Certificate of appreciation and Years of Service gift* valuing $25.00
- 15 years Certificate of appreciation and Years of Service gift* valuing $50.00
- 20 years Certificate of appreciation and Years of Service gift* valuing $75.00, plus an additional gift
- 25 years Certificate of appreciation and Years of Service gift* valuing $100.00, plus an additional gift
- 30 years Certificate of appreciation and Years of Service gift* valuing $125.00, plus an additional gift
- 35 years Certificate of appreciation and Years of Service gift* valuing $150.00, plus an additional gift
- 40 years Certificate of appreciation and Years of Service gift* valuing $200.00, plus an additional gift
Years of service gift selection:
- Gift card to GRCC Bookstore
- Gift card to The Heritage
- Gift card to Foodology
- Gift card to Raider Grille/Sneden Cafe/Quiet Cafe
- Donation of years of service gift to the GRCC Foundation Unrestricted Student Scholarship fund.
- Donation of years of service gift to the GRCC Student Food Pantry fund.
It is recommended that "off" years, i.e. 1 to 4 years; 6 to 9 years; 11 to 14 years, etc. be recognized at the department level on an employee's anniversary.
