How to choose classes
Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 registration started March 29. I encourage you to schedule an appointment with me virtually or in-person to get help choosing your classes or for career exploration.
Here is my Summer 2024 schedule:
• Monday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (in-person and virtual)
• Tuesday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (in-person and virtual)
• Wednesday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (in-person and virtual)
• Thursday: 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. (virtual appointments only)
• Thursday: 4-6 p.m. (virtual appointments only)
• Friday: 8 a.m.-noon (in-person and virtual)

About me
Patrick Kamau is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has an MA in counseling and completed his doctoral degree in Counselor Education at Western Michigan University in December 2011. He has worked as a mental health professional, college counselor, pastoral care and counseling professional, adjunct professor of counseling, Introduction to College (CLS) program coordinator, and a professional academic advisor. These experiences have provided him with a thoroughly integrated-broad perspective that enables him to respond to the educational, career and personal needs of students at GRCC. When he is not at GRCC, he enjoys reading, listening to gospel music, playing and watching soccer, and loves spending time with his wife, daughter and son.
