Jenifer Bourcier

Dr. Jenifer Bourcier (BOAR-SEAR) joined our department in 2018.  She earned her B.S. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Michigan Flint and her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Michigan State University.  She currently teaches our Microbiology courses.  Her expertise is in soil microbial ecology, molecular biology, and running teaching labs for both a chemistry department and clinical laboratory science program.  In her spare time she enjoys crocheting, and maintaining an apiary of bees.
