James has been with GRCC since 2011. James has worked as a success coach since 2016. Before stepping into this role, James was a tutor.
James believes all students have the potential to achieve their educational goals. He enjoys supporting and connecting with students at GRCC. James earned a Master of Arts in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University, a Bachelor of Arts in History from Michigan State University, and an Associate of Arts from GRCC.

Favorite Place at GRCC
The Library and Learning Commons is a great place to get away from it all. Equipped to give students the space and support services to focus on their studies, the Library and Learning commons houses GRCC’s library, Academic Support and Tutoring Services, and the Woodrick Center for Inclusion and Multicultural Affairs.
