Dr. Frank Sargent is serving as the Chief of Staff in the Office of the President. Dr. Sargent brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including serving as vice president and chief of staff at the Community College of Allegheny County (Pittsburgh, PA), provost and vice president at Newbury College (Brookline, MA) and faculty and administrative positions at Johnson & Wales University (Providence, RI) and Bridgewater State University (Bridgewater, MA). Dr. Sargent is a retired military officer and aviator, and he holds a B.S. from Salem State College, a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, and an Ed.D. from Johnson & Wales University.
Dr. Sargent reports directly to the President and will collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team to advance the college’s strategic goals and initiatives. He plays a key role in fostering cross-campus collaboration and supporting various college-wide projects. Additionally, Dr. Sargent represents the college at community events when needed.
