Debra Hintz serves as the Chief Information Officer/Vice President of Information Technology at Grand Rapids Community College, overseeing efforts to provide reliable and sustainable technology services in a timely and fiscally responsible manner.
Hintz is a member of the President’s Executive Team and her portfolio as CIO includes Information Technologies and Media Technologies.
Hintz's 35 years of IT experience encompasses higher education, non-profit, government, tribal government, and business.
She earned an AAS degree in Computer Technology and Data Processing from Wayne County Community College, a bachelor degree in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University and a master's degree in Educational Technology from Michigan State University.
