While attending GRCC’s Automotive Technology program in the early 1990’s, Chad Lodenstein worked as a technician in a local GM dealership. After transferring to Ferris State University and obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Automotive Management, Mr. Lodenstein worked in the automotive industry at General Motors, K-Line, Mazda, and Kawasaki. An instructor at GRCC since 2002, Mr. Lodenstein has also earned a Master of Arts degree in Career & Technical Education. He is an ASE Master Technician, including L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist certification. While interested in all areas of automotive technology, Mr. Lodenstein is known by his students to have a high level of interest in teaching the understanding and use of electrical wire diagrams.
