Grand Rapids Community College has partnered with ReUp Education to connect with and support former students who have paused their studies.
The partnership aims to assist stop-out students by providing the resources they need to return to school and complete their academic programs. There is no cost for returning students to work with ReUp coaches.
“Many of our students want to return to school, but they face barriers that prevent them from doing so,” said Lori Cook, executive director of Enrollment Services. “Our partnership with ReUp Education enhances our outreach efforts, allowing us to better engage with those who have stepped away from their studies.”
Since 2015, ReUp Education, has been helping higher education institutions engage, enroll and support adult learners. Using patented technology and personalized coaching, ReUp aims to help GRCC reach those who have previously put their education on hold.
Once re-enrolled, students will continue to receive support from ReUp coaches, who will assist them in planning their next steps and answering questions.
