The Grand Rapids Community College Early Childhood Learning Laboratory is a fun and friendly place to work!
• Wash dishes and maintain health code standards
• Clean kitchen and classrooms as needed
• Put lunches in hot boxes, bring to rooms when needed
• Help classrooms serve lunch
• Prep snacks and deliver to classrooms
• Wash, dry and fold children’s laundry
• Answer phones, take messages, filing and other office duties
• Variety of other tasks, varies by day
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to learn how to use dishwasher and clean kitchen equipment
• Pleasant demeanor
• Ability to work independently and make good use of time
• Ability to be flexible and be able to deal well with interruptions
• Dependable and punctual
• Must be able to work shift without having a cell phone
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Knowledge of office equipment or willingness to learn
• Computer skills in both Microsoft Programs and Google
