Klein, who joined the board in 2008, was senior portfolio manager at Northern Trust Co. from 1999 to 2014. He previously was vice president and senior portfolio manager for Bank One, and also worked in portfolio management for Union Bank Trust Co., NBD Bank, First Chicago and Old Kent Financial Corp.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in general business from Michigan State University and is certified as a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Klein and his wife, Pat, reside in Grand Rapids.
