April 20, 2023, GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Recent graduates from Grand Rapids Community College Workforce Training programs can connect with more than 20 area employers at a job fair planned for April 26.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the Tassell MTEC, 622 Godfrey Ave. SW, in Grand Rapids.
“In Workforce Training, we are focused on offering programs that lead to satisfying employment”, said Lead Job Developer, Sydney Plaggemars. "Hosting this annual job fair is one way we are supporting our students, alumni and area employers. Career coaching and placement services are invaluable services and a rewarding aspect of our work.”
The annual event features employers in the fields of manufacturing, automotive, construction and welding.
The job fair is available for anyone who has taken one GRCC’s hands-on Job Training Programs or credit classes.
