The Salute to Women Award celebrates the accomplishments of women and gender equity advocates who impact the GRCC community and beyond. The award is open to all GRCC stakeholders regardless of gender or gender identity. Annually, persons who exemplify high achievement in advocacy, community service, leadership, and student engagement are nominated in four categories.

Nomination Criteria

Advocacy

In the advancement of women and gender equity. Please address the nominee's impact and demonstrated advocacy efforts.

Commitment

Community service that links back to the GRCC community as evidenced by time and resources given.

Achievement

In the person's profession (or major) at GRCC. Please address the nominee's impact, demonstrated success, and the difference this person makes to other GRCC stakeholders.

Service-Leadership

Demonstrated through the person's innovation, strength, flexibility, and risk-taking on behalf of GRCC.

Mentorship

Empowers and inspires other GRCC stakeholders as a mentor and role model.

Engagement

Campus engagement has a positive impact on (or is involved) with GRCC students.
