I am an assistant to the instructor at GRCC's brand new Phyllis Fratzke Early Childhood Learning Laboratory and have been employed by GRCC for almost seven years. I am honored to have been a part of this new endeavor and greatly appreciate our new facility. I graduated from Michigan State University in 1992 with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement. Overall, I have been teaching in the early childhood field for twenty-three years.
I have been married to my husband, Todd, for twenty years. We have three children. Adam is married to Cassidy and has given us a grandson, Rowan, who is two. Zachary graduated with the class of 2017 at Wellspring Preparatory High School and will be leaving for the Navy later this fall. Our youngest son, Matthew, will be a freshman this fall at Northview Public Schools. We have recently moved to Grand rapids after living on sixteen acres in apple country in Kent City for seventeen years. We are looking forward to new adventures in urban living. I enjoy relaxing through reading, gardening, camping, kayaking, biking, photography and traveling.
