- 1/11/19 - Blackboard Basics, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
- This session is designed to get you started using the basic functions of Blackboard 9. Blackboard is GRCC's course management system that allows you to communicate with your students. The basic items explored in this session will include a general overview and capabilities of Blackboard, using the Control Panel (edit mode) and Course Availability, managing the course menu, creating an announcement, populating content areas with items, adding folders and files, accessing the grade center to add columns and grades, and where to find support for Blackboard at GRCC.
- 1/11/19 - 2/22/19 Online Hybrid Certification Course (OHCC)
- This course is designed to provide instructors with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver a high-quality online/hybrid course. Successful participants will also be able to teach effectively online through active facilitation and a variety of student engagement techniques and technologies. Prerequisite: Training in Blackboard Basics (on the latest version of the LMS). This is a six (6) week, rigorous course that includes weekly participation and assignment requirements.
