Blackboard Orientation

Blackboard is the online system that is used to delivery online learning courses at GRCC. If you are new to online learning and to Blackboard, we recommend completing the "Basics of Blackboard" session.  There is a campus based training and also an online orientation.

On-Campus Sessions – Basics of Blackboard

The ATC Computer Lab staff will be offering “Basics of Blackboard” (held on campus) orientation sessions for new and returning students. These sessions will cover:

  • How to log in
  • Overview of Blackboard tabs/interface
  • The main navigation controls for a class
  • Additional support options

Sessions are held in the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center (ATC) and offered by the ATC Computer Lab staff at the following dates/times. For the latest up-to-date schedule, please click here 

Basics of Blackboard – ONLINE

If you are unable to come to campus or would like an orientation to Blackboard ONLINE, please see the video located on the upper right side of this page. In addition, after logging into Blackboard there is a Blackboard Orientation course that will be listed in the My Courses module.
