GRCC 100th Anniversary Logo
Planning for our 100th anniversary began during the 2012-13 academic year when we voted in a community-wide competition to select our 100th anniversary logo. Our logo was chosen from a number of impressive submissions that came from across West Michigan.
The 100th anniversary logo recognizes the many changes in our community during the last century and the important role the college has played in shaping that development. Our students have built the businesses, nurtured the innovations, and stepped into the leadership positions that have provided a strong foundation for the exciting events and growth that the college and West Michigan are certain to see in the next 100 years.
To further mark the occasion, a 100th anniversary seal has been created to be used on diplomas, transcripts and other official GRCC documents.
The 100th logo and seal may be used during the 2014-15 academic year. They are available for official use Jan. 1, 2014 through June 1, 2015 to replace the college brand logo, official logo, and seal in all graphic and printed materials. Employees, students and community members are encouraged to work with graphic designers in GRCCeprint when using the 100th logo and seal.
GRCC’s logo is representative of the college’s long history of academic excellence, community involvement, and the open door a GRCC education provides to the future. We provide our logo, in several designs which are approved for use by college personnel and our valued community partners who understand and support all that it stands for.
The GRCC logo as provided here is for use in promotion and identification of the college from advertising to t-shirts to classroom materials. It should be used with supporting design elements as explained in this identity guide.
The official logo is still used for more formal business, e.g. GRCC’s return address, long-standing documents and in association with the college’s mission, vision, values and ends.
