The GRCC Honors Program offers a transformative college experience for highly motivated students seeking academic excellence, leadership development, and meaningful community engagement. Designed to challenge and inspire, the program provides a supportive cohort environment, opportunities for personalized learning, and access to unique courses, projects, and events. Honors students gain valuable skills that set them apart—whether transferring to a four-year university or entering the workforce—while forming lasting connections with faculty and peers who are equally committed to making the most of their education.

A unique experience unlike any in the nation, the program shapes curricular and co-curricular activities around the program's four pillars: leadership, service, research and creative scholarship. Students gain skills and experience through various activities featuring these pillars.

Program Eligibility
Students who are prepared to take on additional curricular and co-curruicular activities as part of their time at GRCC are strongly encouraged to apply.
Students with the below credentials and experiences typically apply:
- Incoming freshmen who have a GPA above a 3.3 or an SAT score above 1100.
- Current GRCC students who have a GPA above a 3.3 "and" with at least 6 college-level credits but no more than 12-credits earned.
- Students wanting to be a part of a community and be among other highly motivated students.
- Students seeking a competitive edge and wanting a more enriching college experience.
Note: Program is open to all students regardless if they are part or full time, major/degree and/or taking classes in-person or online. Program is not able to be completed in 1-year.
