The Michigan Department of Corrections requires that corrections officers earn 15 college credits within 24 months of employment. The Michigan Corrections Officer Grant Program established a fund to be administered by the Michigan Community College.

Our Criminal Justice programs provide students with the skills needed to understand and embrace the diversity of the communities in which they serve. Our curriculum is developed in partnership with area law enforcement organizations and taught by instructors who are experts in their fields.
