All participants are welcome. Those in need of special accommodations please contact DSS in advance at (616) 234-4140. Should you have a need for alternative format (i.e. Braille, CD, enlarged font): contact the DSS office to discuss options or arrange an intake with a counselor.

Academic Standing Policy
Once a student has attempted 12 credit hours, he/she must maintain a cumulative GPA of not less than the following:
Credit Hours Attempted Minimum Cumulative GPA Required
12 - 14 1.50
15 - 28 1.75
29 and above 2.00
This policy applies to all credit students regardless of degree status, program of study and financial aid status.
If you do not maintain the required GPA, you will be placed on Academic Probation and are required to attend one Academic Success workshop. Sessions are held at various times and days to meet your needs.
You do not need to pre-register for the session but you should plan to arrive early. Late arrivals will be required to attend a future session. Your registration hold will be removed within 24 business hours of attending the workshop and signing the Success Contract.
You should plan ahead. Your registration hold will not be removed until you attend a workshop.
