GRCC's logo and seal represent its long history of academic excellence, community involvement and opportunities provided to West Michigan residents.
The brand logo is used to promote and identify GRCC. It should be used with supporting design elements based on the college-wide campaign (recruitment, retention or completion) to which the material is related.
The brand logo should be used on publications, classroom materials, letterheads, envelopes, business cards, certificates, brochures and other printed pieces. It should also be on the college website, T-shirts, college PowerPoint presentations, surveys, videos and other merchandise.
You will find the logo in several formats that may be used by college personnel and our valued community partners. Usage reqirements are detailed in the GRCC Logo Usage Guide.
If Grand Rapids Community College is spelled out elsewhere in the materials, the GRCC logomark may be used without the logotype. This is to make sure that the GRCC is not confused with any other institution's acronym when used outside the college.
Choosing a format
EPS files can be placed into numerous word-processing programs. It uses vector lines, which do not degrade when enlarged. The best use is printing, embroidering, vinyl.
PNG files are a compressed image file that is used for the web. PNG files are the best files to use on our GRCC Drupal website.
For more information on usage requirements, review the GRCC Logo Usage Guide.
Departments may use their customized logo in place of the GRCC logo on all program-related material - both for coursework and internal business and for recruitment.
