GRCC is governed by the board of trustees, which consists of seven members elected at large in biennial elections. The president of the college serves as an ex officio member of the board. The trustees serve without compensation for overlapping terms of six years. Trustees operate under the policy governance model. The board meets once a month in a public session.

Notice of Work Session

The Grand Rapids Community College Board of Trustees will hold a work session, Wednesday, April 16, 2025 beginning at 1:30 p.m. The work session is open to the public under the Open Meetings Act, 267.

The meeting will be held on the fifth floor of the Raleigh J. Finkelstein Hall (RJF) in the Board Conference Room.
